Symptoms of H1N1 Flu
The symptoms of H1N1 (swine) grippe in people are similar to the symptoms of fixture human grippe and admit fever, cough, tender throat, body aches, headache, chills and fatigue. Some people have reported looseness of the bowels and vomiting associated with H1N1 (swine) flu. In the past, grievous unwellness (pneumonia and respiratory failure) and deaths have been reported with H1N1 (swine) grippe transmission in people. Like seasonal flu, H1N1 (swine) grippe may cause a declension of underlying chronic medical conditions.
In children hand brake warning signs that need urgent medical attention include:
* Fast Breathing or trouble breathing
* Bluish or gray skin color
* Not drinking enough fluids
* Life-threatening or persistent vomiting
* Not waking up or not interacting
* Being so irritable that the child does not want to be held
* Flu-like symptoms improve but then return with fever and worse cough
In adults, hand brake warning signs that need urgent medical attention include:
* Difficulty breathing or gruffness of breath
* Pain or pressure in the chest or abdomen
* Sudden dizziness
* Confusion
* Life-threatening or persistent vomiting
* Flu-like symptoms meliorate but then return with fever and worse cough
